Alex will head the Crosslane Real Estate France team to evaluate the market and prioritise the best target cities with globally recognised universities, identify a number of specific development sites, complete transactions and undertake development to create a substantial purpose-built student accommodation portfolio.
Alex joins Crosslane having previously gained extensive European real estate experience, particularly in France, within both asset development and operational management roles.
He also has degree in Civil Engineering, an MBA in Major International Finance, is CAIA qualified and is a RICS member.
Lou has been working in various capacities for Crosslane in France for nearly 3 years, firstly as a freelance, and now Director of Crosslane Real Estate France. Her role is ensuring the smooth running of Crosslane French operations and managing the project analysis team. Previously she worked for a UK property developer with investments centered on the Southern Alps as PA to the Development Director and Company Representative on projects during negotiations. This experience has given her a solid knowledge of the complexities of French planning administration and legal processes as well as appreciation of the importance of clear communication between developers, investors and their French counterparts.
Marion holds a double Masters degree in Law and Real Estate as well as a Law and English degree. She has joined Crosslane Real Estate France from a short stint in the real estate legal department of the Banque Populaire where she was part of the team dealing with leases, litigation and insurance. She has extensive experience in both market and legal research having worked for property developers and legal teams. She is helping to analyse projects with a particular emphasis on the legal aspects. Marion is a double French equestrian champion and enjoys a number of other sports.
